When we first decided to travel full-time, it was only supposed to be for 1 year (January – December of 2016). Then on a whim, we started sharing our daily adventures on YouTube. Today, 30,000+ people have joined in on the journey. We don’t want this adventure to end anytime soon, and we hope you feel the same!
We’ve made it our personal goal to visit 100 countries before we turn 30. I (Nate) turn 30 on March 20th, 2019. That’s our deadline. This means we still have 50+ countries to visit in a little over 2 years. I know it sounds a little crazy, but what’s the fun in setting goals that are easy to achieve?
Our biggest barrier to achieving this goal is money. We only saved up enough for our first year of travel. In order to continue traveling, we need to find a way to make our travels financially sustainable. If you’d like to see how we’re doing, you can check out some of our past monthly income & expense reports.
In the meantime, If you’d like to help us overcome the financial barrier, below are some ways you can contribute!
The 3 BEST Ways To Financially Support Us That Is COMPLETELY FREE To You!
1. Get a FREE audio book by starting a 30 day free trail with Audible!
If you’re passionate about travel, we highly recommend Vagabonding by Ralf Potts. Just click the link above and search for “Vagabonding”.
The Audible free trail is a HUGE win-win for both of us! You get a free audio book and we get $15. This is a crazy generous offer by Audible, and we hope that you’ll take advantage of it, and help keep us on the road at the same time!!!
***Besides Patreon this is the best way you can support our channel!***

3 More Ways to Support Our Travels That Will Cost You Some $$$.
Patreon is a platform that allows you to financially support creators on a reoccurring basis. We’ve had several people ask us if we had a Patreon page so that they could support our efforts on Youtube. The answer up until now has been no.
We battled for a long time trying to decide whether or not we wanted to launch a Patreon Page. Some travel YouTubers are doing extremely well using the platform, and their fans seem to be happy to support their creation of videos. Riley and Elyna from Sailing la Vagabonde are a great example. They’re making $6,000+ per video they publish.
On the other hand, we’ve seen other YouTubers (we’re not naming names) launch a Patreon account only to get tons of negative feedback from their audience. Asking people to support you on Patreon can rub some (or a lot) of people the wrong way. For this reason we decided not to publicly launch our Patreon Page through our YouTube channel. This page is the only place where you’ll find a link to our Patreon page.
We figure if you’ve made it this far, you’re probably interested in helping us out. So if you’d like to learn more about supporting us on Patreon, you can do so using the link below. If you’re looking for the best way to help out, this is it.
If you’re purely looking for the easiest and most cost effective way (in terms of the money we receive) to support our travels, Patreon is your best bet.
2. The Mistake Fare Manual
I wrote an e-book that will teach you how to find and book mistake fares and short term flight deals. After learning my strategies, you’ll be flying around the world for pennies on the dollar! Plus, the income we receive from the book will help to keep us on the road and produce YouTube videos. It’s a win-win 🙂
3. 30 Days to Becoming a Travel Hacker
Before Kara and I started this life of full-time travel, we saved up over 1.8 million miles and points. Over the past year we’ve used these miles and points to drastically reduce the cost of our travels.
I was able to earn all of these miles and points through a little hobby called travel hacking. I’ve been
mildly obsessed with learning the best ways to earn and redeem miles and points over the last four years. In my new course I’ll be distilling four years of travel hacking knowledge into 30 easy to understand and actionable lessons that can be consumed over the course of a month. At the end of the 30 day course you’ll be ready to start travel hacking your way around the world for pennies on the dollar. There’s no doubt in my mind that skills you learn in this course will save you thousands of dollars on travel expenses in the years to come.
We don’t “expect” anyone to support us financially, but if you do in some way, we’ll be grateful from the bottom of our hearts!
Warm Regards from Somewhere in the World,
Kara and Nate
